EXPLORE DC & NYC

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY / SMITHSONIAN MUSEUMS / ARCHIVES / TIDAL BASIN MEMORIALS

• After meeting your JE Tour Director at the airport, transfer to Washington DC
• Spend the afternoon exploring the Smithsonian Museums and the National Archives to see the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and the US Constitution
• Dinner
• Evening guided walking tour of the Tidal Basin Memorials: Jefferson, Martin Luther King Jr., and FDR Memorials
• Conclude the day with devotions

DAY 2: CAPITOL HILL / MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE / WHITE HOUSE / MALL MEMORIALS

• Breakfast at hotel
• Start your morning on Capitol Hill praying for the leadership of our country
  • Interior guided tour of the US Capitol Building (by appointment)*
  • Interior self-guided visit to the Library of Congress
  • Exterior photo stop on the steps of the Supreme Court
• Lunch
• Afternoon self-guided visit to the Museum of the Bible
• Afternoon exterior visit to the White House*
• Dinner
• Evening guided walking tour of the Mall Memorials: Lincoln, Korea, Vietnam, World War II, and Washington Monument

*Congressman meet & greets and interior White House tour organized by group.

DAY 3: ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY / LOCAL MINISTRY / PENTAGON 9/11 MEMORIAL

• Breakfast at hotel
• Remember those who have fought for our country during a guided walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery
  • John F. Kennedy’s gravesite and the Eternal Flame
  • Witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier*
• Quick visit to the Marine Corps Iwo Jima Memorial
• Lunch
• Afternoon visit to a local community ministry
• Dinner
• Evening exterior tour to the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial
• Conclude the day with devotions*Wreath laying at the Tomb organized by JE (based on availability).

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO NYC / MIDTOWN MANHATTAN / TIMES SQUARE

• Early morning breakfast at hotel and transfer to NYC
• Arrive at hotel & drop off luggage – NYC subway safety information briefing
• Lunch at Grand Central Terminal
• Spend the afternoon walking the streets of Midtown Manhattan like a local!
  • Exterior visits to the Chrysler Building, Bryant Park, NYC Public Library, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral
• Dinner in Times Square and time to explore
• Conclude the day with devotions

DAY 5: LOWER MANHATTAN / ELLIS ISLAND / BROADWAY SHOW

• Breakfast at hotel
• Morning cruise to Ellis Island with views of the Statue of Liberty
• Lunch
• Early afternoon walking tour of Lower Manhattan
  • Exterior visits to Wall Street, Federal Hall, Trinity Church, and the National 9/11 Memorial
• Return to the hotel to change for the evening (time permitting)
• Dinner
• Enjoy the sights and sounds of NYC at a Broadway show
• Conclude the day with devotions

DAY 6: CENTRAL PARK / METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART / TRAVEL DAY

• Breakfast at hotel
• Morning guided stroll through Central Park on your way to The Metropolitan Museum of Art
• Return to hotel, collect luggage and depart for airport

STAY LONGER

• Add a day in either DC or NYC, add a day trip to Philadelphia, or a few days in Boston
