About
Since 1997, Joshua Expeditions has provided purpose-filled educational travel experiences that help students see the world through a broader lens and discover how their unique gifts can serve God’s purposes.
Through hands-on, faith-centered travel, students gain cross-cultural understanding, engage in meaningful ministry, and learn to share the Gospel in both word and deed. Each expedition is designed to stretch hearts and minds, often inspiring lifelong reflection on missions and service.
Joshua Expeditions is a nonprofit Christian organization that partners with schools and churches to bring the world to young people—and the Gospel to the world.
Joshua Expeditions is located in
McKinney, Texas.
Mission Statement
Joshua Expeditions exists to assist Christian organizations in inspiring purpose, developing leaders, and sharing Christ through travel.
Our Vision
It is our vision here at JE that every travel experience, educational resource, training, or event aligns with at least one part of our mission, always to the Glory of the Lord.
Inspire Purpose
Develop Leaders
Share Christ
Quite simply, JE’s programs are designed to ignite hearts and minds to change the world. It is our passionate desire never to leave these three purposes, but to always provide a service that points others to Christ.
JE Doctrinal Statement
- We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Provide food for children.
- We believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan and fell. Because of Adam’s sin, all men have guilt imputed, are totally depraved, and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for salvation.

- We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and that He will personally return to earth in power and glory.
- We believe that salvation consists of the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone, apart from works.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe that the saved will be raised to everlasting life and blessedness in heaven and that the unsaved will be raised to eternal conscious punishment in hell.
- We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ at the time of regeneration, and for whom He makes intercession in heaven.
- We believe that Christ commanded the Church to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to every creature, baptizing and teaching those who believe.
How We Give Back
When you travel with JE, you help us give scholarships to students in need, build homes for hurting families, provide food for hungry children, and impact low-income communities through our JE Ministry Fund. Hear the stories of those impacted by the JE Ministry Fund here.
For the Children
We are supporting established organizations that give 100% of our donated funds directly to feeding children in low-income communities. The organizations use the meals as part of a longer-term investment in the lives of the children.
Kingdom Education Fund
Through local partners, JE is helping to provide a Christian education for students with financial need around the world. Alongside our partner organizations, JE is investing in students from the US to Uganda.
Community Development
JE strives to support community development projects through our long-term local partners. The development projects must provide support for a group of persons and be given through a long-term Christian community partner.
Costa Rica Housebuilds
JE is currently matching costs for groups to go build homes for low-income families. Local Christian partners select the families based on certain criteria and maintain long-term relationships. The final goal is to bring families to Christ.
